To identify , evaluate & shortlist vendors, suppliers or other sources the materials, negotiate with vendors and purchase materials, ensure quality, handle warehouse activity, safe despatch, coordinate with other departments. inventory management, supply chain coordination

Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory & Material Management

  • Maintain and monitor inventory of DG spare parts, consumables, and tools.
  • Regularly update stock levels and ensure optimal availability.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

2. Procurement Coordination

  • Prepare purchase requests for required DG materials and spare parts.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely supply.

3. Material Issuing & Tracking

  • Issue materials to service engineers and project teams based on job requirements.
  • Track material usage, returns, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain job-wise and project-wise material consumption records.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain updated records of GRN, stock reports, and delivery challans.
  • Prepare daily/weekly material movement and stock reports.
  • Assist in preparing estimates for DG service, overhaul, and project installations.

5. Coordination With Service & Project Teams

  • Coordinate with DG service engineers for spare part requirements.
  • Support project teams by ensuring timely availability of installation materials.
  • Update service teams about critical or delayed items.

6. Vendor & Logistics Handling

  • Coordinate with logistics personnel for dispatch and receipt of materials.
  • Maintain vendor contact list and track performance (delivery time, quality, price).
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of DG parts (batteries, filters, alternator parts, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Experience in materials coordination/inventory management (preferably in DG/Power sector).
  • Good understanding of DG spare parts and components (training can be provided).
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory software, and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and work with service and project teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
