Materials Coordinator Inventory Control

Summary: Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between the production department and the stockroom, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.

• Reviews sales orders and performs production transactions in M1. Including job links, inventory transactions, and RMA Job transactions. Run weekly reports and verify WIP status of jobs.
• Work closely with purchasing and production to meet customer delivery requirements
• Stage kits for production and monitor kit shortages. Examine material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Issue stock jobs to maintain min/max inventory requirements
• Maintain computerized records for material inventory and in-process production jobs with status and location of materials.
• May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.
• Coordinate and arrange for repairs within the RMA module of M1 in a timely fashion to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and control movement of material and parts with cycle counts and year-end inventory.

Experience

• Must be computer literate and familiar with ERP/MRP programs. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to multi-task. Must be flexible and a team player. Detail orientated individual.
• Background in Inventory management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
