Materials Engineer

Responsible for reviewing all materials-related design submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and performance requirements for roads, bridges, and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate material specifications, test methods, and performance criteria in design submissions.
• Verify proposed construction materials for suitability, durability, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Assess the compatibility of materials with project environmental conditions and intended service life.
• Review design documentation for asphalt, concrete, aggregates, steel, and other key materials to ensure quality and performance.
• Ensure that proposed materials align with sustainability, maintenance, and lifecycle cost considerations.
• Identify inconsistencies, deficiencies, or non-compliance in material specifications and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and comment on material-related reports, technical datasheets, and compliance certificates.
• Prepare detailed design review comments and maintain records for quality assurance purposes.

• 15+(QC/QA) for Construction Materials: 10 years (Required)

• 15+Reviewing design documents for Infrastructure Materials: 10 years (Required)
