Materials Engineer

A materials engineer in building construction ensures all structural materials (concrete, steel, asphalt) meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. They review submittals, conduct lab and field tests, analyze performance, and troubleshoot failures to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Selection & Approval: Reviewing and approving technical submittals, vendor data, and material samples to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Quality Control (QA/QC): Overseeing material mixing, sampling, and testing (e.g., concrete slump, steel tension tests) in laboratory and field settings.
• Testing & Analysis: Performing and analyzing tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet structural requirements and industry standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Assessing how materials behave over time to prevent deterioration or structural failures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Civil & MEP works

• Candidates must be currently available in Abu Dhabi

• Immediate joining is mandatory
