Description:

The Materials Manager oversees the receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of all client- and company-procured materials and equipment across project sites. This role coordinates delivery schedules with procurement and field teams, ensures accurate materials reporting (MRRs, OS&D), and verifies on-time shipment delivery. Responsibilities include managing site logistics, warehouses, and laydown yards; inspecting incoming materials; supporting QA/QC maintenance requirements; and overseeing material handoff to subcontractors. The role may also provide leadership and guidance to field materials staff and communicate material-related risks impacting cost, schedule, or client relationships.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED with 11+ years of materials management experience in engineering and construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera scheduling, and material tracking systems required. Strong communication, organization, and self-management skills are essential.
