Materials Planner I - Finishing Scheduling

Job Duties:

• Adhere to all Kawneer rules and regulations.
• Prepare schedules for finishing departments to support con-ops production.
• Able to work successfully with other department managers and leads.
• Follow directions from manager to complete daily tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, problem solve, and engage in housekeeping efforts.
• Must be willing to flex to other areas.
Other duties as assigned.

This Material Planner I position will primarily support the paint and anodize finishing metal flow path by developing a department schedule in adherence with, and support of department and location metrics as set forth by management.

• JDE working knowledge
• Computer Literate
• Microsoft Office working knowledge with an emphasis on Excel knowledge
  • Willing and capable to learn additional Excel skills as needed
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be able to move carts with metal from one area to another.
Must be able to work overtime as needed and determined by management.
