Job Description: Materials Science Engineer – ECOR Greentech

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Department: R&D; – Advanced Materials

Role Overview ECOR Greentech is seeking a Materials Science Engineer to support R&D; in advanced carbon materials, catalysts, and plasma-based material processes. The role includes hands-on lab work, material characterization, and collaboration with engineering teams to develop innovative clean tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze materials such as carbon black, graphitic carbon, catalysts, and plasma processed materials.
• Perform material characterization using SEM, XRD, Raman, TGA, FTIR, BET, etc.
• Support methane plasma pyrolysis, CO utilization, and sustainable material development projects.
• Analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and maintain documentation.
• Assist in prototype development, quality evaluation, and pilot scale testing.
• Collaborate with chemical, mechanical, and plasma engineering teams.

Requirements

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Nanotechnology, or related field.
• Understanding of material properties, structure–property relationships, and lab testing methods.
• Experience with material characterization instruments preferred.
• Knowledge of carbon materials or catalysts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
