Materials Specialist

About the Role:

Ensure timely availability, staging, and field distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first point of call for all material related issues.
• Interface with Company materials and warehouse teams.
• Coordinate tagging, kitting, staging, and material readiness for work fronts.
• Coordinate material internal transportation, storage and preservation.
• Track critical materials and shortages.
• Support expediting of missing or damaged materials.
• Maintain material status reporting for execution teams.
• Ensure surplus materials are well preserved and timely reconciled with Company stores and obtain relevant Company authorities sign-off on reconciliation sheets.
• Tracks outstanding materials POs (both Company and Contractors sourced) using Company SAP system or any other relevant Company or Contractor system.
• Provide technical support in terms of material availability alternatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) (preferably in Mechanical) and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects and Turnarounds / Shutdowns in end-to-end material management.
