Materials Support Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Materials Support Supervisor to lead our materials management operations. In this role, you will oversee procurement activities, inventory control, and supply chain coordination to ensure seamless manufacturing and production processes. Your expertise in ERP systems along with your strong understanding of materials planning and supplier management, will drive efficiency and support our company's operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain strategies, optimize inventory levels, and foster collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily materials support functions, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Utilize ERP system
• Inventory Management: Track, monitor, and maintain accurate records of materials.
• Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Logistics & Distribution: Organize storage, shipping, and routing of materials to different departments or sites.
• Documentation: Prepare requisitions, invoices, and shipping documents; verify orders against records.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Operational Support: Provide materials to technicians, engineers, or production teams as needed.

• Order Entry: Back up for Order entry, being able to assist and resolve any issues.

Experience

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory systems.
• Ability to use ERP software or inventory management tools.
• Communication skills for coordinating with Customers and internal teams.
• Problem-solving ability to handle shortages, delays, or damaged goods.
• Physical capability to handle materials (lifting, packaging, shipping, Forklift).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 per year
