Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies for the organization

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory records

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials

Identify and resolve any issues with orders, such as discrepancies in quantity or quality

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss

Use inventory management software to track and manage stock levels

Prepare reports on inventory levels, supply chain efficiency, and procurement costs

Comply with all safety and regulatory standards in material handling and storage

Collaborate with other departments, such as production and finance, to forecast future material needs

Participate in the development and implementation of material management policies and procedure
Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and manage inventory of materials and supplies.

Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels.

Forecast supply needs based on project requirements and timelines.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and manage deliveries.

Perform regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy.

Organize storage areas for optimal efficiency, maintaining cleanliness and safety regulations.

Communicate with team members regarding material needs and availability.
-
Prepare and present reports on inventory levels and consumption.

Comply with all organizational policies and regulations pertaining to materials management.

Identify and suggest improvements to current procurement processes.
Qualifications
-
Proven work experience as a Material Management Technician or similar role
-
Proficiency in inventory management software
-
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
-
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
-
Experience with purchasing and procurement procedures
-
High school diploma; further education in logistics or relevant field will be appreciated
