Position Summary:

ArcFlo is seeking a Materials/Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of materials, from procurement to product shipment. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for Warehouse team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the materials team.
  • Maintain the company inventory program/cycle counts and ERP system.
  • Responsible for successful procurement (buying) of raw materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Assists in resolving returned materials process.
  • Evaluates supplier quality, pricing, and reliability on an ongoing basis.
  • Negotiates contracts as necessary.
  • Create and updates SOP or work instructions as necessary.
  • Partners cross-functionally with production and engineering to ensure customer commitments/schedules are met.
  • Identify and implement warehouse process improvements and layout optimizations to accommodate operational growth.

Qualifications/Skills for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Integrated Supply Management, Business Management or related preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in progressive materials management positions.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and Microsoft suite.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management such as lean and JIT.
  • Proactive and able to independently solve and manage complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Physical requirements:

  • This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, and the use of hands and fingers.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment if necessary (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • Safety glasses with side shields and safety-toed shoes are mandatory.
