Maintains a continuous supply of components, resins and packaging for efficient production operations. Additionally, ensures all finished production gets accounted for in a timely manner.
1. Ensure all scheduled production machines and equipment have continuous supply of components, resins and packaging and that all material is properly labeled.
2. Assist setups by thoroughly draining, cleaning and refilling resin hoppers/dryers during changeovers.
3. Ensure cells are changed over thoroughly for next scheduled production by properly relabeling, removing and storing previous production materials, packaging and finished product.
4. Remove finished product from cells timely after they have been checked and stamped by Quality Control. Label, weigh and scan all complete and approved finished product at CMS station and correctly store in warehouse location.
5. Print product barcode labels as necessary.
6. Verify finished product leaving the cell is acceptable and packaged properly.
7. Inform shift Plant Team Manager of any component, resin or packaging shortage or discrepancy. Additionally, inform of jobs that are nearing completion.
8. At the end of your shift, ensure at least 1-2 hours of components, resin and packaging is at each scheduled cell.
9. Ensure plant 5S procedures for storage and handling of all components, resins, packaging and finished products are being met.
10. Assist in any other plant projects or tasks as required.
11. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.
12. Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.

- Lifting – up to 60 lbs. sometimes required from floor to waist level; up to 80 lbs. from waist to shoulder sometimes required to fill hoppers/dryers; up to 60 lbs. from shoulder and above occasionally required to retrieve supplies
- Pushing/pulling – occasionally required in front of body to push material containers
- Climbing – occasionally required to climb ladder

High school diploma or equivalent. One to three years operator experience desirable. Competency in reading, writing and basic math. Valid driver’s license or state ID card and passing grade on Power Industrial Truck test.
