Maternity Leave Replacement - 3rd Grade Teacher

St. Gregory Barbarigo School, a vibrant Catholic school dedicated to academic excellence and faith formation, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to fill a 3rd Grade Maternity Leave Position. This position will begin in November and is estimated to run through the end of March.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Education or Teaching (preferred)
• New York State Teacher Certification (required)
• Classroom teaching experience, ideally at the elementary level
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a faith-based, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction in all core subject areas in alignment with NYS Standards and Catholic school values
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom community where every child can thrive
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student growth and success
• Maintain professionalism in communication, planning, and execution of lessons
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to doing what is best for students both academically and socially
