Title: Part-Time Math Curriculum Writer

Report to: Senior Manager of Math Curriculum
Compensation: $58/hr
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Location/Hours: Hybrid – 1-2 days/week in office; Approximately 20 hours / week

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Part-Time Math Curriculum Developer is responsible for: 1. designing, developing, and refining math curriculum that is research based, culturally responsive, aligned to traditional high school math courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus) and supports students' quantitative and problem-solving skill development; and 2. supporting the part-time math instructor hiring process and conducting instructor observations. This role works under the direction of the Senior Manager of Math Curriculum and collaborates with instructors, teaching and learning managers, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a skilled curriculum writer and math pedagogue with classroom experience who is adept at project management and thrives on creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking design.
