Job Description

Edify College is looking for a qualified and motivated GED Math & Science Teacher who can also perform admission counseling duties. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching and capable of guiding prospective students about the GED program.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach GED Mathematics and Science to students following the GED curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and practice exams for GED preparation.

Monitor student progress and provide academic support where needed.

Conduct admission counseling sessions with prospective students and parents.

Explain the GED program, admission process, and academic pathways.

Assist in student enrollment and follow-up with inquiries.

Maintain student records and academic reports.

Support the admissions team in achieving enrollment targets.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.

Strong understanding of GED curriculum preferred.

Excellent communication and counseling skills.

Teaching experience will be preferred.

Ability to manage both academic teaching and student counseling.
