Lexora Institute is a premier tutoring center in Dubai focused on providing high-quality academic support. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Math & Science Tutor/Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the school curricula in Dubai and a passion for making complex subjects understandable and enjoyable for students.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Subject Matter Expertise: Teach and support students in various levels of Mathematics and Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
• Academic Support: Assist school-going students in strengthening their understanding of core concepts and excelling in their subject studies.
• Exam Preparation: Guide students through comprehensive exam preparation, helping them to master test-taking strategies and curriculum-specific content for school exams and standardised tests, including those for the IB, IGCSE, and the American and British curricula.
• Tailored Instruction: Work with students of different ages and academic abilities, providing one-on-one and small group instruction.
• Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student performance, track academic progress, and provide timely feedback to students and their parents.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology), or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of school programs, syllabi, and examination systems relevant to Dubai schools is essential, with specific expertise in IB, IGCSE, and American and British curricula.
• KHDA Compliance: A valid KHDA Educator Permit is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without a valid permit must be eligible and willing to obtain one.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and concisely. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility: Available to teach during flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED60.00 - AED100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
