Pivot Charter School is a tuition-free, Cognia-accredited public charter school serving grades 6–12 in the Brandon/Riverview area. For more than 13 years, we’ve combined the personal connection of a small school with the opportunities of a larger one. With small class sizes averaging 15 students, our teachers are able to build strong relationships, give individualized attention, and help every student grow with confidence.

Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and caring Math Teacher to join our team. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or just starting your career in education, Pivot offers a supportive environment where you can make a real difference. The ideal candidate enjoys working with middle and high school students, can bring math to life through real-world examples, and values collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging math lessons aligned with state standards.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.
• Use technology and hands-on strategies to make learning meaningful.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Mathematics, or related field).
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate OR willingness and ability to earn certification (mentoring and guidance provided).
• We welcome both new and experienced teachers.
• Strong communication skills and a student-first mindset.
