Math Teacher

Start date is flexible - between December 15, 2025 and January 20, 2026

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least an EX endorsement in Mathematics. Experience teaching AP Calculus or other advanced mathematics courses is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate Will Use Creative Instructional Strategies Along With Best Practices For Classroom Teaching Which Promotes Interactive Learning And Student Engagement Through Technology, Literature, And Writing. The Candidate Must Be Adept With Technology And Ready To Consider Emergent Techniques To Enhance Student Achievement. Candidates Will Also

• Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Mathematics curriculum;
• Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans;
• Incorporate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans;
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner;
• Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions;
• Utilize progress monitoring;
• Monitor and evaluate student development and growth through a variety of assessments;
• Maintain accurate student classroom records.
