Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teacher to teach students from Classes 1 to 6. The teacher will help students develop strong foundational mathematical skills and confidence through engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students in Classes 1–6 according to the school curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons
• Teach key math concepts including:
• Counting and number sense
• Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Fractions, measurement, time, and money
• Shapes, geometry, and patterns
• Problem-solving and logical thinking
• Use visual aids, activities, games, and real-life examples to support learning
• Assess students through classwork, homework, quizzes, and tests
• Monitor and record student progress
• Provide extra support to students who need it
• Encourage a positive and confident attitude toward mathematics
• Maintain classroom discipline in a respectful, caring way
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
• Communicate with parents when necessary
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and school events

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching certification (as per school/region requirements)
• Experience teaching primary classes preferred
• Strong understanding of foundational math concepts
• Good communication and classroom-management skills
