Math Teacher

As-Suffa School of Excellence is seeking a qualified Math Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction that strengthens students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and develops their problem-solving and logical thinking skills. The role involves planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, maintaining effective classroom management, and fostering a disciplined, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The teacher will regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic improvement. Use of modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies is expected to enhance learning outcomes. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. The position requires professionalism, dedication, and a minimum of one year of relevant teaching experience, with no team management responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured mathematics lessons that align with curriculum goals and foster student engagement and understanding.
• Apply effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment conducive to student participation and achievement.
• Master mathematical concepts and communicate them clearly to support varying levels of student abilities and learning styles.
• Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Integrate educational technology and learning management systems to enhance instructional delivery and student learning outcomes.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring equity and inclusion in the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with students to encourage academic growth, motivation, and address any learning challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior, ensuring compliance with school policies and standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and support school-wide educational initiatives.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and uphold the mission and values of As-Suffa School.
• Engage with parents or guardians as needed to discuss student progress, address concerns, and build strong home-school partnerships.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach core mathematics concepts clearly and effectively.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a disciplined and productive learning environment.
• Ability to assess student performance and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and commitment to continuous improvement and student success.

Pay: From Rs30,000.00 per month
