Job Summary

The Middle School Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering clear, engaging, and curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons for grades 6 to 8. The teacher will be required to teach using the D-Series Mathematics books and ensure strong conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons for grades 6–8 using the D-Series books as the primary resource.
• Teach core concepts including algebra, geometry, number operations, data handling, decimals, fractions, and integers.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
• Conduct regular assessments and track student performance.
• Provide remedial support to students who require additional help.
• Maintain discipline and a positive, productive classroom environment.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through interactive teaching methods.
• Communicate with parents regarding academic progress when necessary.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade records, and student portfolios.
• Participate in school events, training sessions, and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and curriculum implementation.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience in middle school (grades 6–8) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and familiarity with D-Series curriculum/books.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Energetic, organized, and passionate about teaching.
• Ability to make mathematical concepts engaging, clear, and relatable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs68,000.00 per month
