Mathematics Teacher (Grades 2–5)

The ORCHID School is looking for a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Mathematics Teacher for Grades 2–5 who can create an engaging learning environment and inspire students to develop strong mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a relevant field
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in the Cambridge System
• Strong command of Mathematics concepts for primary grades
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to plan and deliver creative, interactive, and student-centered lessons
• Passion for teaching young learners and supporting their academic growth
• Ability to use modern teaching methodologies and assessment techniques
• Strong coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with parents and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students from Grades 2–5 in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and classroom activities
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Maintain students’ academic records, assessments, and progress reports
• Create a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment
• Identify individual learning needs and provide academic support accordingly
• Coordinate with parents regarding student progress, performance, and behavior
• Participate actively in school activities, meetings, training sessions, and academic planning
