Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to handle Mathematics and Environmental Studies (EVS) for Grade 3. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over the subjects, experience in early childhood education, and the ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Maths and EVS that cater to the learning needs of Grade 3 students.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate teaching strategies that promote curiosity and conceptual understanding.
• Prepare lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
• Use a variety of teaching aids and resources including digital tools, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
• Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Conduct periodic assessments and support remedial learning as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure overall development of the students.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths & EVS for primary levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative teaching approach with a child-centric mindset
• Classroom management skills
• Tech-savvy with experience using smart boards, educational apps, and online platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Ed. (mandatory) with a specialization in English/Mathematics/Science
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Grades 1 and 2 in a CBSE school
• Familiarity with activity-based and experiential learning methods
