Maths Teacher

Job Description:

Holy Hearts Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for Classes 5 to 8. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, the ability to simplify concepts, and a commitment to nurturing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills through engaging and effective teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students of Classes 5 to 8 as per the school curriculum
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and interactive lessons
• Simplify mathematical concepts using activity-based and practical approaches
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials
• Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback
• Identify students’ learning needs and provide additional support where required
• Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment
• Participate in examinations, meetings, trainings, and school events
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Mathematics or a related field
• B.Ed. preferred (freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply)
• Good command over basic and advanced school-level mathematics
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patience, dedication, and a student-centric approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

Salary Range: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
