Maths Teacher

Job Purpose:
To teach Mathematics effectively, develop students’ analytical and problem-solving skills, and ensure strong academic performance in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to assigned classes as per the approved syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments aligned with academic objectives.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methods and examples.
• Encourage logical thinking, numerical skills, and problem-solving abilities among students.
• Assess, evaluate, and grade students through tests, quizzes, assignments, and examinations.
• Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, results, and student progress.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.
• Use teaching aids, technology, and practical examples to enhance learning.
• Participate in academic meetings, trainings, and school activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred (level as per requirement).
• Strong subject knowledge and command over mathematical concepts.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with board examination patterns and assessment criteria.
