Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Overview:

Manapdale High School is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This teacher will help high school students learn and enjoy mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Plan and deliver interesting math lessons that fit the curriculum and student needs.
• Curriculum: Create and update lesson plans and materials.
• Assessment: Give and grade tests and assignments, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Classroom Management: Keep the classroom organized and manage student behavior.
• Student Support: Help students who are struggling with math by offering extra help and resources.
• Professional Development: Attend training sessions to improve teaching skills.
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers to share ideas and materials.
• Communication: Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and school events.
• Extracurricular Activities: Participate in school events and activities, such as math clubs or competitions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Certification: Valid teaching certification for Mathematics.
• Experience: Experience teaching high school students is preferred.
• Skills:
• Good understanding of math topics.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to make lessons engaging and understandable.
• Good at using technology for teaching.
• Organized and able to manage time well.
• Able to work well with other teachers.
