Job Description – Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Tata 1MG – Dhanbad / Jharkhand**

Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: MBBS

Location: Tata 1MG Dhanbad, Jharkhand

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Patient Care & Clinical Management

Provide primary medical care to OPD/IPD patients.

Attend and stabilize emergency, trauma, and critical cases.

Conduct daily ward rounds and update patient records.

Support consultants in diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures.

Manage admissions, discharges, case sheets, and documentation.

2. Emergency & ICU Support

Respond promptly to code blue, ICU calls, and emergency alerts.

Monitor and manage patients in Emergency, ICU, and HDU as required.

Ensure correct implementation of treatment orders from consultants.

3. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Nursing, Diagnostic, and Support departments.

Ensure clear communication with patient families regarding condition updates.

Assist in smooth functioning during shift handovers.

4. Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

Maintain accurate medical documentation per hospital protocols.

Ensure adherence to NABH quality standards and safety protocols.

Report incidents, infections, and critical deviations as required.

5. Shifts & On-Call Duties

Rotational day/night shifts, emergency on-call as assigned.

Support 24x7 medical coverage as per roster.

Skills & Requirements

Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle emergencies.

Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Basic knowledge of ICU/critical care preferred.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹33,869.39 - ₹75,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• JSMC certificate (Required)
