Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care to patients presenting in the casualty/emergency department
• Assess, diagnose, and stabilize emergency and trauma cases
• Perform initial examination, triage, and treatment of patients
• Handle medical emergencies such as cardiac issues, respiratory distress, accidents, poisoning, seizures, etc.
• Initiate basic and advanced life support (BLS/ACLS) when required
• Coordinate with consultants and specialists for referrals and admissions
• Maintain accurate medical records and casualty notes
• Prescribe medications and order necessary investigations
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly
• Communicate effectively with patients’ relatives regarding condition and treatment
• Follow hospital protocols, ethical guidelines, and infection control practices

Skills Required:

• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and emergency situations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts / night duties
