The role is on-site at a full-service hospital located on GT Road, Valmiki Chowk Putlighar, Amritsar (Punjab) and supports clinical teams across OPD, IPD and emergency units.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment across OPD and IPD, documenting findings and prescriptions clearly.

Manage emergency triage and initial stabilization of acute cases; escalate to specialists as required and coordinate admissions.

Perform routine ward rounds, monitor patient progress, and update treatment plans in collaboration with nursing and allied teams.

Carry out minor procedures and wound management within the scope of practice, maintaining procedural documentation and informed consent.

Ensure accurate clinical documentation in hospital records / EMR, order and interpret basic laboratory and radiology investigations.

Follow infection control protocols, medication safety practices and hospital SOPs; participate in morbidity & mortality and clinical audit sessions.

Prior clinical experience in a multi-speciality hospital, OPD or emergency setting is preferred.
