MCAT Tutor (Remote, Part-Time)
Rath Tutoring is seeking an experienced and motivated MCAT Tutor to help students prepare for medical school admissions through one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions.
Note: Applicants must be willing to complete a shortened version of the MCAT and deliver sample lessons as part of the interview process.

As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in supporting students through customized, goal-oriented tutoring. The majority of our students come to us for test prep, making your expertise vital to their academic progress.
What You’ll Do:

Design and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs

Identify student challenges and develop effective strategies for improvement

Teach with flexibility and creativity, adapting to different learning styles

Maintain detailed session notes, including progress updates, challenges, and assigned homework

Communicate observations about student engagement and effort when needed

Collaborate with the Rath Tutoring team and use our online tools effectively

Bachelor’s degree in any field (advanced degree a plus)

Strong MCAT performance (515+ preferred) and/or significant MCAT tutoring experience

Experience delivering engaging one-on-one tutoring (online strongly preferred)

At least 3–5 years of teaching/tutoring experience or equivalent hours

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable to student needs

Proficiency with Zoom, online whiteboards, and other digital tools for tutoring
Preferred Availability (based on your time zone):

At least 4 weekend hours (Sat 10am–6pm, Sun 10am–6pm)

Consistent weekday availability Mon–Thurs afternoons/evenings (Typically between 12pm - 8pm)
