POSITION:
The selected Psychiatrist will join an excellent team of clinical and medical staff. As an important member of this multi-disciplinary team, completes psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow ups and makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Provides consultation regarding client care to clinical staff. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. This position primarily serves youth and young adults.
- Full-time or part-time opportunities are available at an outpatient clinic.
REQUIREMENTS:- Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
- GA State Medical License and DEA
- Currently Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Proficient use of a computer and ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record and other applications
- Child and Adolescent Board Certified preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:- Works indoors in a clinic and is able to use an Electronic Health Record and E-Prescribing as well as a telehealth application (as allowed by regulations)
- Sessions may be in person or via telehealth (audio/visual) as appropriate for each client
- May be required to physically assist clients, may need to carry objects up to 10 pounds
- Some evening hour availability is preferred to see youth/families after school or work

- Ability to work from a person-centered, recovery oriented, and trauma informed philosophy in client care
