Measure Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Measure Technician to join our dynamic team. The Technician is responsible for completing and inputting order verifications for their assigned territory. This role provides the highest degree of quality and accuracy in measuring and recording customer orders. Additionally, this position gathers correct jobsite and product requirements and clearly communicates installation processes to set realistic expectations with customers and internal team members.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the order verification process for an assigned territory with ability to provide coverage for other territory as needed
• Verify all sizing of Pella product after a job has been sold
• Accurately input completed OVs within the designated timeframe, generally within 48 hours
• Provide the sales representative with the correct information from the OV to process the order
• Responsible for compliance with lead safety requirements, including lead testing and communication with the customer, and maintain a valid lead paint certification
• Ensure that non-Pella material, interior/exterior trim expectations are appropriate
• Verify that sales contract reflects valid labor and installation requirements for each project
• Order needed material specific to each project
• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders during the entire job cycle
• Assess and document potential problems with product on the jobsite
• Address concerns from the salesperson or homeowner/builder
• Responsible for following appointment schedule to ensure daily jobs are completed
• Meet weekly with the QA/QC Manager to recap previous week and preview upcoming jobs
• Perform all duties as necessary or assigned

Experience

• Prior experience in technical measurement, surveying, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this role
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures with consistency
• Excellent communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
• Basic understanding of safety standards related to measurement activities is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
