Mobile R&R Technician and ADAS Calibration Tech

Job Overview
ADAS Now is expanding, and we are seeking a versatile technician for our new San Marcos location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in suspension and steering repair along with experience with ADAS system calibrations, and diagnostics. The hired technician will be expected to work out of our San Marcos location primarily but based on workload, may fill a mobile technician role in Austin. The mobile technician role will require your own tools. The calibration role involves following company processes, ensuring that all equipment is calibrated accurately to meet industry standards, thereby supporting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This position is customer facing, so strong communication skills and professional appearance will be needed.

Duties

• Various mechanical repairs common to body shop mechanical needs
• Wheel Alignments using shop equipment and software
• Pre and Post scans of ADAS system data on every vehicle.
• Programming and relearning needed modules for calibration
• Accessing factory service procedures for estimate reporting.
• Static calibrations using latest software and equipment following manufacturers service procedures.
• Dynamic calibrations using latest software and equipment following manufacturers service procedures.
• Performing diagnostic procedures for failed calibrations.
• Troubleshooting calibration failures
• Provide field service support as needed, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with calibration services.
• Maintain accurate records of calibrations performed and ensure documentation is up-to-date.

Qualifications

• ASE A4 Steering/Suspension certification or equivalent
• Proven experience in ADAS calibration, and diagnostics
• Strong understanding of vehicle network systems
• Ability to follow vehicle specific directions for calibration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
