Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance will be vital in supporting our production processes. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule maintenance tasks and document work performed.
- Conduct welding operations, including <LOCATION> welding techniques, as well as HVAC/R repairs to maintain climate control systems within the facility.
- Operate field service tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and scissor lifts to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams and provide technical sales support when necessary to optimize equipment performance and uptime.
Qualifications
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks, hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), and precision measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, schematics interpretation, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex mechanical problems quickly and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Experience working in field service roles or industrial maintenance settings is highly desirable.
- Additional qualifications such as military background or certifications in HVAC/R or industrial electrician work are advantageous.
