Overview Of The Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our Honda Service/Body Shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out high quality service and repair work on customer vehicles, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to dealership standards. Your contribution will directly support workshop productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall revenue generation.

What You Will Do

  • Execute repair and service tasks as per the daily schedule and job card requirements.
  • Identify and report additional repair needs, along with cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate check sheets, log sheets, and repair documentation.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and your work bay in optimal condition.
  • Diagnose issues accurately and ensure a “Fix It Right First Time” approach.
  • Perform final inspections in line with SOPs.
  • Meet productivity and efficiency targets through effective time management.
  • Complete required eLearning and on the job training programs.
  • Safely handle all tools, equipment, and hazardous tasks while following guidelines.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and awareness programs.
  • Report incidents promptly and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Support customer satisfaction improvement by minimizing repeat repairs.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Skills To Be Successful

  • 2–3 years of experience as an automotive Technician, ideally within a dealership industry
  • High School / Technical School / ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
  • Ability to work with special tools, follow standard operating procedures, and diagnose issues effectively.
  • Ability to understand automotive wiring diagrams and workshop manuals.

About The Team

You will be part of a skilled and supportive Honda Service/Body Shop team, reporting directly to the Service Supervisor. The team works collaboratively to ensure excellent customer service, efficient workflows, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. You will be engaged in continuous learning, supported with tools and resources, and encouraged to contribute to the workshop’s high performance culture.

  • Technical troubleshooting and vehicle repair skills.
  • Openness to continuous learning, including eLearning modules and HQSP certification programs.
  • Strong sense of responsibility toward personal and team safety, with awareness of hazards
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Focus on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Basic PC knowledge for logging tasks and accessing training.
  • Motor driving experience and familiarity with automotive parts.
