Mechanic /Assembly Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic / Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling collectable Porsche cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's, all these cars have been completely restored and need final assembly, mechanical and assembly experience in VW or other cars is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts and components according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly.
• Conduct routine inspections of assembled units to verify quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Document assembly processes, inspection results, and any discrepancies or repairs needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly procedures and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications accurately.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise assembly work.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously and work effectively in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
