Mechanic (Barge)

* Experienced in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems used on marine barges.

* Hands-on work with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, winches, cranes, and power packs.

* Skilled in preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and ensuring operational readiness of deck machinery.

* Knowledge of barge engines, generators, piping, and mechanical systems.

* Able to identify faults, replace defective parts, perform pressure testing, and maintain hydraulic oil quality.

* Familiar with safety procedures for offshore / marine environments, including lockout–tagout and safe equipment handling.

* Worked closely with barge crew, marine engineers, and operations team for smooth daily operations.

* Maintained service logs, equipment reports, and supported compliance with industry safety standards.
