Mechanic I

Position Details:

• Location: St. Anthony’s Hospital – St. Petersburg, Florida
• Status: Full-time
• Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• Days: Monday – Friday / Occasional weekends
  

Responsibilities

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: High School or Equivalent / Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Preferred: Technical
  

Licenses

• Required: FL Driver's License
  

Experience

• Required: 3 Years as a Service-Related Technician
• Preferred: 3 Years Hospital Maintenance
• Preferred: 1 Year High-rise Mechanical and/or Utilities systems
• Preferred: Fifth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
