Mechanic II

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, repairs and operates all building support equipment and maintenance tools and equipment. Assists in the installation of facilities equipment.

Requirements: EDUCATION:Minimum:
• High School education or equivalent

Preferred:
• Additional training in engineering technologies.

LICENSE:Minimum:
• Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:Minimum:
• Two years in building operations and maintenance.

Preferred:
• Boiler operation certification or experience.

SKILLS:Minimum:
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner, and to deal effectively with stressful situations.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.

Compensation: $24.91- $28.22
