Mechanic III

Position Summary:

Find all equipment in need of repair to include but not limited to isolation of bad part/parts, recommend parts and repairs, testing of completed repairs, coordination with any outside vendors, fabrication when needed, communication of any significant down time, assignment of repairs to other mechanics, assignment of PM’s.

Position responsibilities:

  • Perform predefined preventive maintenance procedures at specific time intervals
  • Performs downtime repair work on industrial commercial laundry equipment
  • Performs predefined equipment or facility work

QUALIFICATION:

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Boiler license preferred

Skills/Abilities

  • Use of multi-meter, welder, read schematics, fabrication, has own tools, familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, Kemco systems, and electrical.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLCs and PLC related problems
  • Must be skilled in the use of PCs and Microsoft Office
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Preferred experience working with high pressure steam boilers and alike systems
  • Must be proficient in welding, repair and fabrication of parts
  • Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical breakdowns
  • Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electrical breakdowns
