Job Title: Mechanical and plumbing Supervisor

Location: Qatar University

Salary: QAR 3,500 (All Inclusive)

Job Type: Contract – 2 Month (Extendable based on project requirement)

Working Hours: 9 hours per day

Work Days: 6 days a week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Supervisor with strong expertise in pump maintenance and general plumbing systems within facility management environments. The candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operation of water systems, and leading a team of technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily maintenance of mechanical and plumbing systems in facilities
• Oversee operation and maintenance of chilled water pumps, booster pumps, transfer pumps, and pressurization systems
• Conduct and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, including troubleshooting, alignment, and component replacement
• Ensure proper functioning of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to low pressure, leakages, blockages, and pump failures
• Inspect and maintain valves, pipelines, fittings, and plumbing fixtures
• Monitor system performance including flow, pressure, and efficiency
• Allocate tasks to technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance work
• Coordinate with facility management team and report daily activities
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and system performance

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP / Facility Management
• Strong hands-on experience in pump maintenance (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of general plumbing systems (water supply & drainage)
• Experience with HVAC-related water systems (chilled water, condenser water)
• Mandatory GCC experience
• FM company experience is mandatory
• Strong supervisory and team management skills
