Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and technically inclined Mechanical Assistant to support our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will assist senior mechanics in vehicle maintenance, repairs, and daily workshop activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics in routine maintenance and mechanical repairs of vehicles.
• Support in engine, brake, suspension, and general mechanical work.
• Help in inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of vehicle issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area.
• Handle tools, equipment, and spare parts properly.
• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Assist in breakdown handling and emergency repairs when required.
• Maintain basic job cards and workshop records as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Matric / Intermediate (Diploma in Mechanical or Auto Trade preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in a vehicle workshop or transport company (preferred).
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.
