Mechanical Coordinator Sr

The Senior Mechanical Coordinator oversees all mechanical works to ensure proper planning, coordination, and execution in line with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues, support installation and commissioning activities, and ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and resolve technical issues.


• Coordinate between project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.


• Monitor progress of mechanical works and subcontractor activities.


• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.


• Identify and resolve design discrepancies or clashes.


• Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning.


• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards.


• Liaise with procurement for timely material delivery.


• Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering


• 10+ years of experience in large building projects, preferably in GCC


• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related systems


• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills


• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
