Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, model, and simulate mechanical components and assemblies
• Develop custom prosthetic parts, structural components, and device housings
• Create and manage detailed CAD models (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks)
• Iterate designs based on testing, feedback, and production input
• Collaborate with electronics, production, and product development teams

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals (tolerances, materials, manufacturing methods)
• Familiarity with DFM principles and basic FEM analysis
• Basic knowledge of 3D printing or experience operating FDM printers (a plus)
• Good learning ability and willingness to develop additional skills beyond core JD
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience required.
