Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components, products, and systems. This role involves converting concepts and requirements into detailed designs, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models with appropriate tolerances and specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and basic stress or thermal analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, and quality teams during product development.
- Select suitable materials based on performance, cost, and application requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
- Identify design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD and engineering software.
- Understanding of materials, GD&T, and mechanical tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of testing methods and quality standards

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
