The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and optimising to ensure efficient Design for Static Equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Tanks, and Structures.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform Mechanical Design of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Tanks, and Structures based on ASME, TEMA, Customer Datasheets and project specifications, utilizing PVlite, Codeware, Tekla and other software
- Preparation of mechanical data sheets for the Heat exchangers
- Provide inputs and supervise the preparation of the AutoCAD Drawings.
- Preparation of Material Requisition (MR/PR) with Technical Delivery Conditions for Project Related Materials
- Preparation / Review of Material Take-off (MTO), Material specifications and Purchase requisitions, including Technical Delivery Conditions.
- Prepare and handle various Audits and Customer Visits
- Provide Technical Design Support during the bidding stage
- Ensure that Design/Drawing & MR related activities are completed within the timeframe as specified by Project Team & with the highest level of accuracy.
- Proivde solution to any Design related issues during Project Execution.
- Carry out Engineering Design related tasks as assigned by GM/OD.
- Provide on-job training to Design Engineers and CAD Operators
Requirements Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
BE Mechanical , Masters in Engineering (Preferable)
Minimum Experience (no. Of Years)
5to6 Years
