Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer – Robotics

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in robotics design, SolidWorks simulation, and hands-on production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and supporting the manufacturing of robotic and automation components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
• Perform simulation and analysis using SolidWorks Simulation (FEA, stress analysis, motion studies)
• Optimize designs for strength, durability, and manufacturability
• Support production processes including injection molding and silicone mold development
• Work with 3D printing technologies for prototyping and mold preparation
• Conduct tolerance analysis and material selection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, control, and production)
• Prepare BOMs and technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (modeling, assemblies, drawings)
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks Simulation
• Experience in injection mold design and production support
• Experience with 3D printing and silicone mold fabrication
• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotic arms, automation equipment, AGVs, or motion systems
• Knowledge of kinematics and mechanical motion systems
• Experience in prototype development and production scaling
