Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate on the design, development, and validation of heavy machinery systems across the full product lifecycle. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, combined with practical experience in designing for manufacturability and production readiness.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality engineering solutions aligned with project timelines and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development activities from concept through production release
• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Manage product data, revisions, and documentation within PLM systems
• Ensure designs comply
• with applicable industry standards, including engineering drawing practices
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility and efficient production
• Conduct and participate in formal design reviews, providing technical leadership and guidance
• Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing processes in coordination with suppliers and vendors
• Drive design optimization initiatives, focusing on performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or product design (industry experience preferred)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD platforms
• Working knowledge of PLM systems and product lifecycle processes
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, including machining, fabrication, and molding processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders

Timings: Monday – Friday (5 pm – 2 am)
