Mechanical Design Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Perform necessary engineering calculations to ensure the safety and efficiency of designs (e.g., Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics).
• Prepare technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for designs.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure manufacturability of designs and availability of necessary materials.
• Participate in the testing and evaluation of product prototypes and improve them based on results.
• Research new technologies and materials to develop and improve existing products and reduce costs.
• Document design processes and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in using CAD software.
• Good knowledge of engineering analysis software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics of materials, dynamics, and manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work within a team and manage time effectively.
• Good command of the English language (reading and writing).
