Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to drive the design and development of our advanced flight equipment. Working at the intersection of mechanical engineering, ergonomics, and precision manufacturing, you will turn concepts into certified, production-ready products that pilots rely on.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and complete systems for flight equipment (helmets, oxygen masks, visors, and mounting systems) using SolidWorks, Rhino, and other advanced 3D CAD tools.
• Produce detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and assemblies that translate design specifications and functional requirements into manufacturable parts.
• Use additive manufacturing (3D printing) to build and validate prototypes, and operate 3D hand scanners for reverse engineering and ergonomic fitting.
• Run mechanical and structural simulations, analyze test data, and iterate designs to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with electronics, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are robust, ergonomic, and ready for series production.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation, drawings, and bills of materials.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical or product design (mandatory).
• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks and Rhino 3D (or equivalent advanced 3D CAD software).
• Proven experience with 3D printing, prototyping, and 3D hand scanning.
• Strong capability in running simulations and analyzing test data.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.

Preferred / Advantageous

• Experience in aerospace, defense, wearable equipment, helmets, or composite products.
• Knowledge of composites, ergonomics, or human-factors design.

Mandatory Eligibility Conditions

All applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical or product design (mandatory).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Currently residing in the UAE, with continuous residence in the country for at least the last 5 years.
• Applicants holding tourist or visit visas will not be considered.
• Professional references to be provided upon request.
